Team Updates:

Claremont has done it again! The foxes played their hearts out against U of A and beat them with a shut out of 22-0. This win guaranteed a spot for the foxes at Nationals because USD couldn't recruit enough people for a full team this season. The foxes still played "against" USD though (almost half of their team was Claremont players) and won 35-10. Claremont has 3 more games to prepare for Nationals, one of which is friendly against USC at home. The USC game will be the foxes last home game of the season (other than the alumni game) so come out and show your support!

During the first week back Claremont played against the University of Arizona. It was a close match, but the Foxes beat U of A 15-10. In this past weekend's match, Claremont played awesomely against Occidental. Several rookies got some playing time, and the team won 64-0. Claremont's playing U of A again next weekend and has every intention of staying on this road to Nationals!
Fall 2008
The Foxes are off to another great year and we're gearing up to once again go to Nationals in the spring. We've got a great new group of Rookies and we're playing hard already!
New players are still welcome to join - no experience necessary. Check out About the Team to find out more.

This past weekend the Foxes went to the National Playoffs in Albuquerque, NM. On Saturday, Claremont played an awesome game and beat East Carolina University to move on to the semi-finals. The semi-finals game was against University of Minnesota - Duluth. Although Claremont was in the lead through the first half, Duluth turned it around in the second half and Claremont lost 14-32. The playoff results put Claremont in the Top 4 Division II teams in the country.
