Chris Ashton has recently made it clear that he is absolutely disappointed that England dropped him from the squad that is representing England at the Six Nations 2014 tournament. Not playing for the rugby team of England is literally killing him. However, Ashton is determined that he will prove his ability as a Test Stage player to coach Stuart Lancaster.
Ashton has been in good form and played well for the Saracens club. From being the first player of choice for England Rugby team, Ashton has become the third choice for the team because Christian Wade and Jock Novell have become the preferred choices of the team. Christian Wade could not participate in the Autumn Internationals 2014 and Six Nations 2014 because of an injury.
The English rugby player said that he became associated with rugby only because he had a chance to represent England. But now he is really not happy that he cannot play the matches in which England rugby team is participating. He is desperately waiting for the day when he will be back in the team.
According to Ashton, every player wants to get associated with the big tournaments not only for England but also for their individual rugby club. He is extremely happy that his club Saracens in performing exceptionally well at the Aviva Premiership as well as the Heineken Cup.
In the Six Nations 2011 tournaments, Ashton scored around six tries. Later on in the Rugby World Cup, he scored another six tries because of which he stood in the first position along with Vincent Clerc (French rugby player) on the try-list.
After so many achievements, his performance has been degrading and questions are being raised regarding his ability. Therefore, Chris Ashton has to work really hard to prove himself and regain the prestige he has lost.
